Our Heros
Many of us have friends and family who are serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and other foreign countries. We admire their courage in defending us as a nation, however, we can't forget the sacrifice their families make while their loved ones are defending us. A local family faced the possibility of losing a son-in-law this past year. Some of you may remember Jill Perkins, daughter of Sharon & Jim Perkins. Jill is married to Eric Dingman who has had 8 rotations on the War on Terror. Eric was shot in the face while on duty this past November. It is truly a miracle Eric not only survived, but also that he was not paralyzed because of his injury. We salute not only Eric and his family, but also the Military Medical team that worked on him and with him. Sharon, Jim, Jill and their family give thanks to the Military Medical Team and the Lord for Eric's miraculous recovery.
These are just a few images of Eric with his little ones, Hailey and Gavin, which we were honored to photograph this past week.
Prior to his injury Staff Sergeant Dingman received the Bronze Star medal in conjunction with his support of Operation IRAQI Freedom.
